Why are stories important?

There is so much information about childcare.  Everyone talks about it.  But the same is not true about eldercare.  In fact we are extremely private about it.  We need advice and support from those around us just as much as we do when we have babies.  It is a new world for us---we should learn from those who have had experience.

Why should I pay attention?  My parents are healthy now.
