Request for help……

The stories of caring for older parents often are not shared because the families are too exhausted to put their experiences on paper.  But unless people start sharing their learnings, others will not receive the benefit of those of us that have made the journey.

Yes, the experience is full of emotion, bureaucracies and loneliness, but it is also a wonderful gift that teaches us more than any other life event.

I am committed to spreading the word about the learning experience of caring for older parents---sharing personal stories and strategies.

I invite you to be part of this project.  What am I asking for?  Stories, lessons, advice.  Feel free to send me a funny anecdote or something you felt was especially significant.

Professional writing is not required---just your stories and lessons learned….And what you personally learned from the life experience.  If you have a friend with a story I am interested also.  Feel free to attach a photo.
